Sign Materials

The material, which comprises the body of your sign, is known as a substrate. Substrates can be made of a vast array of materials, Plexiglas, and fiberglass, to name a few. The message of your sign is then incorporated by adding another material to the substrate to form the image, or, less often, removing some of the substrate to reveal the desired image. Please note that every type of material (or substrate as it is called in the sign industry) usually comes in a wide variety of sizes, colors, thicknesses such as Coroplast, Expanded PVC, Acrylic, Aluminum, and Polymetal.
